Video Taping / Data collection
With most video research, a consistent quality of camera work and audio is essential to a smooth and seamless workflow. With years of experience in this area the technical personnel at the ICCR are well equipped for all your data collection needs. This includes as many as four cameras being simultaneously captured and delivered. The technical team at the ICCR have developed a customised multi-channel data aquisition tool, called blackBOX. These build-to-order machines are developed in consultation with clients to suit their requirements and can capture up to 4 channels of video, and 8 channels of audio. Key features include:

  • Digital and Analog inputs
  • Live simultaneous/time aligned video capture from all input sources
  • Live compression during capture (ie mpeg4, h.264)
  • All software comes pre-loaded and configured on Apple's latest MacBook Pro computers

Over the years the ICCR has prided itself in a number of areas of media management and storage with thousands of hours of footage with local network access and online secure access. We are perfectly positioned to manage and archive your research related multimedia elements.

Video Research Coding
With the aid of newly developed and ground breaking software we are able and can assist you in all your coding and transcription requirements. We can also give you guidance when it comes to choosing the right workflow to streamline your data collection and coding. The ICCR has a site licence of the incredibly powerful and customisable Studiocode software by Sportstec.

 

 

 

Multimedia Authoring and Delivery
At the ICCR, we have a wide knowledge base when it comes to preparing the output of your presentation or project. We have recently completed DVD's for the Department of Education and supplied content for a large number of research projects. We also repurpose material for presentations and professional development tools for a multitude of disciplines including promotional and tuitional as requested.

Secure Online Content Provision
The ICCR now has the ability to offer secure content for all online research project partners. The ICCR "videoPORTAL" online Digital Asset Mangement system (DAM) is based on the Enterprise DAM system by NetXposure. It offers automated upload, download, and video streaming capabilities. Combined with remote WEBDAV access, secure SSL and powerful permission based user management, the ICCR portal is the perfect tool to securely share your data with anyone, anywhere in the world.
